This page has 2 important items.
1./ DAL Waiver - that guests sign with their FULL Legal Name. This is a binding contract with the standard terms for attending a Private BDSM Event (Play Party and/or Workshop or Special Event), as well as the declaration that the attendee is aware of what they will be exposed to.
2./ DAL House Rules - also in effect for the Workshops, the Rules are enforced fairly and firmly, and along with the DAL Waiver; ensure all attendees are attending a fun, safe, and wild event - with no concern of any laws being broken.

Terms & Conditions:
1. I swear that I am at least 18 years of age.
2. I swear that I have read and understand the DAL House Rules, and agree to abide by them as interpreted by the event, or risk ejection from the event, as well as possible further consequences, up to and including legal action.
3. I agree and affirm to abide by this agreement for DAL Workshop, and/or Play Party, and/or Special Event; that I am attending. I further agree that for failure to abide by these rules I risk ejection from the event, as well as possible further consequences up to and including legal action.
4. I agree and affirm to hold harmless the organizers, the owners of the premises, and my fellow partygoers from any and all damages, injuries, or indemnities arising from my attendance at this PRIVATE event.
5. I understand there are natural risks to engaging in BDSM play, and agree that the ultimate responsibility for my own personal safety, rests with me as a consenting adult.
6. I am aware that I MAY witness nudity, sexual acts and/or various sexual activities, various fetishes, AND that these activities do NOT offend me and that I am a willing participant at this PRIVATE event.
7. I agree and affirm that all information regarding events, scenes, participants, or conversations I have participated in or overheard; while attending this PRIVATE event, is to be held in strict confidence, and that breaching of this event confidentiality may result in consequences, up to and including legal action against me.
8. I agree and affirm to independently confirm the accuracy of any material or technique I witness, and agree to only act on the information or attempt to reproduce, ONLY at my own risk.
9. I swear and affirm that I am not a reporter or private investigator (volunteer or professional), attending this event for the purposes of collecting information about any of the participants or the organizers; for the purpose of any investigation, or for the purpose of publication. I further understand and affirm that I will NOT disclose, in ANY format, in any manner, at any time; any information which includes or references ANY details from my attendance at this PRIVATE event.
10. I agree and affirm that as a Private Event, I may be ejected at any time at the Hosts discretion, without compensation.
11. I understand I will face consequences up to and including legal action, should I ever violate the letter or spirit of this agreement.

A printed waiver will be required to be signed by each and every attendee before entry. Legal name will be required. Waivers will be destroyed a short time after the event by the Host. If an issue occurs, individual waivers will be retained until it is felt they are no longer needed.
Please note:
1./ Signing a waiver is a binding legal contract, and it will be enforced as such. Read the Waiver before signing it.
2./ Signing a waiver does NOT provide protection for any person or group that is found negligent, or has acted illegally.
3./ This waiver had to be SADLY added to (July 2006) after a reporter attended an event in Ontario (Not DAL) and subsequently wrote a rather biased, hurtful, and unsupported article for a free online magazine. The additions to the Confidentiality portion of the Waiver is for the protection of ALL attendees to DAL.
4./ Please note that the DAL Waiver PURPOSEFULLY ties the DAL House Rules into the signed Waiver (Agreement).
5./ No one who declines to sign the DAL Waiver at the front door receives either admission into the event, or a refund.
6./ Proof of age, name, MAY be required at the door. Legal ID must be brought with you.

The Dark Angel’s Lair (DAL) House Rules as stated here are not subject to negotiation. Policy, Rule, or Etiquette interpretation is entirely the responsibility of the Host and/or Chief DM, whose decisions are final. All attendees have signed a waiver in recognition of reading and agreement to abide by these rules. Persons ejected at the Hosts and/or Chief DM's discretion will receive no refunds.
All attendees are 18 years of age, or older.
1/ As a Private event DAL reserves the RIGHT; to refuse attendance to any the Host decides to deny attendance. Host initiated Bans are for the protection of DAL, the event, the organizers, the attendees, and the venue - and are not negotiable. If you are not on the Guest List - you will not be allowed entrance.
2/ As a PRIVATE event - Full sex / sexual penetration/manipulation is 100% allowed at DAL on both floors between consenting participants. Players involved in sex MUST BRING THEIR OWN DROP CLOTH (no drop cloth = no penetration) AND SAFE SEX SUPPLIES. Play and/or Sex is only allowed in the monitored play space. There will be no obvious sceneing/sex in the social, quiet, vendor area, and absolutely no play/sex outside. Anyone caught masturbating or play/Sex outside the play space will be automatically “Ejected” - That is ejected not ejaculated. Insertables are allowed outside the play spaces but once in they stay in until they come out - i.e. you can wear an egg or butt plug, but they must remain fixed and not continually manipulated. If you have an insertable in use you MUST have a drop cloth.
3/ Fetish wear is encouraged, but not required. Full nudity is permitted; as a private event - nudity/sex at DAL is not against the law.
4/ Absolutely NO recording devices are permitted at the event. Use of recording devices will result in their confiscation and the destruction of the medium (film, tape, disk, etc) without compensation. This includes all cell phones capable of recording images.
5/ Ejection from DAL might also entail a temporary or permanent BANNING from future DAL’s. Ejection is at Host or Chief DM’s discretion. Banning is at the Host’s discretion.
6/ Anyone under an existing BAN from a "DAL affiliated event" - {TEASE, EHBC or Club 13 } - will be by default - ineligible to attend DAL. Banned persons will have to contact the respective Event Organizers, to resolve your issue. We will NOT act as Mediators, Judges, Advocates, or in any way get involved. NOTE: Those hassling DAL staff due to being Banned by other events will find themselves Banned from DAL under a Host initiated Ban.
7/ Prostitution, solicitation and negotiation of payment for sexual services are ILLEGAL and will not be tolerated. No drugs or any other kind of illegal activity will be tolerated. Suspected violations shall result in ejection from the event and a Permanent Banning from all future DAL events.
8/ You are not required to play if you don't want to. All interaction must be 100% FULLY CONSENSUAL. Each attendee is a willing participant, and is responsible for his or her own personal safety. Either attendee may end play at any time. Un-consensual touching is not allowed and will be STRONGLY enforced. NO means NO, and just because it is exposed doesn't mean you can touch it.
9/ You may not touch anything belonging to another person without the owner's express permission. DAL and the DAL venue are not responsible for personal items lost, stolen, or damaged.
10/ Participants use the equipment at their own risk. Much of the equipment has been donated for this event -- do not mistreat it. Each participant is expected to examine the equipment for safety both before and after a scene. Equipment “Climbing”, “Walking”, or other violent abuse is prohibited.
11/ You must clean the equipment and area using the provided paper towels and disinfectant immediately following your scene.
12/ All players must respect each other’s limits and House Safewords. The House Safeword is “RED” The DM's will interpret "RED" as an immediate call to end the scene. If the Top does NOT end the scene when “RED” is called; ONLY then - will the DM will step in. If a participant is prevented from speaking (i.e. A gag or hood), a visual signal for "RED" must be PRE-APPROVED by the Host or Chief DM *PRIOR* to commencement of the scene. Scenes that start prior to receiving approval will be immediately interrupted.
13/ 1st floor; Spectators and Players are requested to mind the level of noise. Abnormally loud talking, laughing, or screaming is disruptive to scenes in progress. 2nd floor; Scenes and Social areas on the 2nd floor may be as loud as they wish. Play on the 2nd Floor is NOT guaranteed quiet, and should not expect it. We encourage louder scenes to take place on the 2nd floor.
14/ Momentary Breath Play is ALLOWED. Knife play is permitted only on the 2nd floor ONLY. Knives may NOT be worn, and must be packed away except during a scene.
15/ Participants engaged in A/ Play Piercing, B/ Cutting, C/ Branding, or D/ Fire Play - may do so only begin AFTER permission to do so is granted by the Host, or Chief DM. Participants MUST provide their own drop cloths (A, B, C, D OR SEX), approved “Sharps” container (A OR B), or means of extinguishing any fire (C or D).
16/ “Water Sports (W/S) is ALLOWED”. W/S activities may only be done privately in the 2nd floor shower area. After W/S play is finished, contaminated participants are required to shower before exiting the WS area. If these cleanliness guidelines are violated, BOTH participants will be required to leave. No spectators are allowed in this area; the WS Players and roving DM's only.
17/ No scat is allowed. No free-flowing blood or any activities that might cause permanent damage of any kind are allowed. No leaving your bottom UNATTENDED during a scene. Bleeding during percussion play will necessitate the end of the scene in progress (due to risk of “air borne” blood). No firearms allowed anywhere, anytime.
18/ Do not attempt to join a scene in progress unless you have been pre-invited to do so by the participants in the scene.
19/ If you plan to do anything that a DM might considered “out of the ordinary” (such as apparent non-consent); you MUST clear it with a DM first, or expect your scene to be interrupted. If a DM is caught by surprise, they may interrupt your scene. DM’s are volunteers, here for your assistance and to support a fun but safe event.

Bare ass - at DAL a thong = bare ass (the string up your ass is sexy, but it does not protect); If your bare ass cheeks (and/or genitals) are coming into contact with furniture, equipment, the floor, etc - then you need to protect and respect the next person who will be sitting/using it. Use a drop cloth so your body fluids or other are not shared non-consensually. Bring a towel and then respectfully enjoy sitting in your HOT outfit that shows your bits (or fully nude).
